Facephi leads the NIST ranking, surpassing major biometric technology providers and strengthening its position as a benchmark in accuracy and efficiency

  • The rigorous experiments presented in the report by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), based on blind tests and standardized metrics, confirm the high accuracy of Facephi’s biometric engines, reinforcing its standing among the industry’s leading references.

Facephi, has been evaluated by NIST as part of its FRTE 1:1 analysis, which assesses the capabilities of facial recognition technology. The latest report highlights that Facephi’s new SDK, facephi-002, has achieved a significant improvement in biometric engine accuracy, securing a top position in the global verification technology ranking.

The analysis revealed that with facephi-002, the company has outperformed major biometric technology providers. This new technology delivers exceptional accuracy in authenticating legitimate users while ensuring that an impostor cannot gain access in 99.9999% of cases (equivalent to a security threshold of 1 in a million), establishing it as one of the most advanced solutions on the market. Additionally, Facephi has demonstrated outstanding performance in challenging scenarios, such as verification with significant age differences (Aging) and face detection at angles of up to 45º, where other providers often encounter limitations.

These achievements reflect Facephi’s strong commitment to continuous innovation and excellence in digital security, providing its clients with faster and more accurate identity verification that reduces fraud risk and enhances user experience. With these results, Facephi solidifies its position as a leader in the biometric technology market, offering solutions that meet the highest international standards.
