FacePhi incorporates the shared mobility into its business portfolio thanks to WiBLE, the carsharing service promoted by Repsol and Kia.
WiBLE, a leading company in shared mobility services, will use FacePhi’s digital onboarding solutions to allow its customers to register as users through its mobile application, and thus be able to use its vehicle booking, opening and driving services.
Through the technology that the leading user identity verification company will integrate into the WiBLE system, the operator’s users will be able to register as customers in less than five seconds and following just two simple steps: Taking a photo of both sides of their official identity document, and taking a selfie with passive liveness.
The technology will verify identity through an optical character reading system and the comparison of facial patterns with the photograph of the document provided, all in a fast, secure, comfortable and real-time way.
Once registration has been completed, WiBLE customers will experience a radical change in the way they hire carsharing services, and will be able to enjoy multiple advantages such as the ability to carry out contactless procedures, reduced waiting times and a considerable increase in the verification of information and handling of data.
“Entering the shared mobility industry with WiBLE, in the field of carsharing, allows us to access a sector with great potential and increasing demand, as it represents an efficient mobility alternative. The incorporation of our identity verification technology will also make it possible to convert the shared vehicle rental process into a more agile, dynamic, easy and secure experience,” says Javier Mira, president and CEO of FacePhi.
For WiBLE, this collaboration agreement strengthens its commitment to cutting-edge technology, according to Carlos Blanco, CEO of the company, who states that “Technology is a fundamental lever for evolving the service and improving the experience of our clients, which is why we must work with leading companies in their technological areas such as FacePhi.”
With this contract, both companies reinforce their commitment to the environment, bringing together sustainable technological models. FacePhi, through its solutions, enables the reduction of the use of plastics and paper in multiple transactions, whilst WiBLE is dedicated to sustainable mobility with 100% electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
